7909 miles away; that’s how far I was from Path to Wellness and Development Initiative's successful first quarterly free community health event in Enugu (Housing Estate, Abakpa Nike).
From scratch, it took 65 days of long-distance planning, organizational strategies, and coordination to assemble and support the clinical, non-medical, and operational team on ground.
More than 300 community members were assessed and educated by nurses and doctors and provided with medications, reading glasses, and dental kits.
All was made possible by having supportive and dedicated teams in Nigeria with a shared interest in PWDI's cause.
